Waxie Sanitary Supply buys Asplund Supply

Asplund Supply Inc., with headquarters in Auburn, has been bought by Waxie Sanitary Supply of San Diego for an undisclosed sum.
Asplund Supply has locations in Wenatchee and Auburn as well as Anchorage, Fairbanks and Kenai in Alaska. The company was founded in 1954 and distributes janitorial supplies and equipment payday advance lender.
Waxie officials say their company is the country’s largest family owned distributor of sanitary maintenance supplies, employing more than 800 people after the Asplund acquisition.
