US Airways to being Charlotte-Ottawa link
US Airways Group will begin service June 1 connecting Charlotte, N.C., with Ottawa, Ontario.
Ottawa joins the list of five other destinations added from the Tempe-based airline’s Charlotte hub in the past 18 months. Service to Rome began May 13 and flights to Rio de Janeiro started in December.
The daily service to Ottawa will be operated by US Airways Express partner Air Wisconsin using 50-seat CRJ-200 regional jets.
“The new service to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, from Charlotte, N.C., complements a growing choice of destinations from our largest hub,” said Jason Reisinger, US Airways director, route planning, in a statement no fax payday advances. “We’re now able to offer flights to and from Ottawa from both Philadelphia and Charlotte, providing flexible travel options for customers in those cities and abroad.”
US Airways (NYSE:LCC), US Airways Shuttle and US Airways Express operate more than 3,000 flights daily serving more than 190 communities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Central and South America.
