Predictive Biosciences names Klemm as its first president and CEO
Predictive Biosciences Inc. has named Peter Klemm as the company's first president and chief executive officer, according to company officials.
Klemm, formerly CEO of molecular diagnostics company GeneOhm Sciences, will also be named a director of the company, effective Monday, March 24. Klemm ran GeneOhm Sciences, which he built from its inception in 2002 until it was sold to Becton Dickinson in 2006 for $230 million. Prior to GeneOhm Sciences, Klemm was CEO of JOMED Inc., a Swiss company that develops and manufactures products for interventional cardiology, radiology and minimally invasive vascular surgery.
Predictive Biosciences was launched in 2006 and is privately funded by Highland Capital Partners and Flybridge Capital Partners (formerly IDG Ventures Atlantic).
